Mates in Bowls starts Wednesday 01 February 2012 at 6.00pm, rain, hail or shine. Anyone who is entered to play, wants to play or is volunteering time to help run the event please get to the club prior to 6.00pm

Entries are being sought for the Labour Day 2-4-2 Triples (any combination). Enter either on the entry form on the Club noticeboard or ring the Club after 4.30pm and ask for your team to be entered. Event starts at 9.30am. Open to all bowlers.

The Club Mixed Graded Triples winner this season has been found. Congratulations to Bernie Mitchell, Bill Ramsay and Gary Milicich who were unbeaten in the round robin.

Congratulations to Ben King for his selection in the Wellington Intercentre Team for the regional playoff in Wanganui. Ben is skipping the four.

On Sunday we are hosting National Have A Go day at the Club from 9.00am till 4.00pm. This is an opportunity to try bowls. You do not need bowls as the club will provide them as well as having players and coashes available to assist you. All you need to do is turn up anytime between 9.00am and 4.00pm with some flat soled shoes (no heel) and we will intoduvce you to the game.

Club Members - This is an ideal opportunity to introduce your neighbours, friend, workmates or other acquantences to the game. Why not bring a mate along for a try.

Monday 25th October  9.30am start. Enter early as only 16 teams will be accepted this year due to the greens renovation programme. Players from other clubs need to either ring through their entry to 473-5158 or email bowlswilton@xtra.co.nz
